Abstract: The public primary school is located in Los Cachimanes in Spain. When the school is covered by artificial grass, it became a diverse, unique and green building.
The public primary school is located in Los Cachimanes in Spain. Site is a slope, so the architect has transformed it to smooth relatively. Because of the space is wide, so the architect has created a whole school and the playground to isolated children with the outside. When the school is covered by artificial grass, it became a diverse, unique and green building.
From indoor to outdoor, there are a variety of different spaces to play for children. Playground is the another world for schools. Through the different structures, the space is divided into different areas, and different areas have different entrances shades. It can also be interpreted as a continuation of the school building.
The school do not take action, which is namely the principle of "doing nothing". It grow in day after day, what looks like green living organs to contact with the earth, so children can learn and play. This project shows the concept of "human architecture", which beyond the general form. Architects hope to create a healthy living environment.
