With the worsening of trafice and environment, people are looking for internal combustion engine to replace. The price of electric bike is between 1,500 to 3,000 euros, which is much more expensive than bike. The consumer groups of electric power-assisted bicycles are mainly middle-aged and old people. Old people could easily to ride to the top of the mountain depend on electric motors. It is not a problem to ride dozens of kilometers every day.
According to the German traffic regulations, electric bike should be ridden by pedals, and the speed of the electric motor is not more than 25km/h. The rules are the same as for ordinary bicycles. Driver’s license or extra insurance is not required.
